Wills Wedding
Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. -Ephesians 5:22-24

My heart is made to love you,
My lips are made to kiss you,
My eyes are made to catch you,
My hands are made to hold you…
Every part of me wants you, Maybe because I was made just for you!

When I saw you, I was afraid to meet you.
When I met you, I was afraid to kiss you.
When I kissed you, I was afraid to love you.

My Life and the Lovely Gift It Is
I sat back last night and thought how and why I'm so blessed. What did I ever do to receive all this?
First and formost, I have an amazing family! Even though my parents are divorced I've never seen or heard either one say a bad thing about one another. I'm extremely family oriented and love both sides of my family because they are equally crazy in their own little way. I'm very close with my cousins and I find it odd when people tell me they haven't seen or spoken to their family in years. This is completely beyond me. I just don't understand it.
I'm also blessed because I have 2 sets of extraordinary friends.
In the last year I wanted to try to merge the two together but I found out last night why that probably won't happen. Not because any of my friends would dislike each other, it's because of the differences. I'm not worried they wouldn't get along or because of the language barrier. I know know they are all willing and able to do so but it's the subtle differences they all carry. I have one set of friends I started getting really close to over the last 2 years. It was completely by accident. It was more of a domino effect. I met Roland on St. Patrick's Day almost 2 years ago at a party. A few months later I was introduced to Kayla and I photographed her immediately and from there she introduced me to Lana & Sean who then introduced me to Sammy. We all became very close and even though we're all artist or musicians in some shape or form we don't have that one common denominator. We're just all really close friends.
On the flip side, my "Bachatasalseros" I met in the last past year or so. I met Francisco and Victor when I first started dancing. Poor guys had to carry me along and rub their aching feet after stepping all over them. They eventaully introduced me to the group where I met Karla, Toni, Charlie, Cindy, and Patty. By the way, from the very beginning did not like me. But it's funny because now we're joined at the hip. But in this case, we all have one common denominator. We're all dancers. But it's not about that.
Even though I love each group equally, nor could I ever choose between them; it's all based on the differences. I love the fact that not all of my friends are the same. Each and every one of them are completely different. Inside and out. I can write on and on about their wonderful characteristics but it would only make me love them more and create more for you to read this chilly morning. I love having the personality differences that each one carries to incise another person to laugh or hug on another. We can go weeks without seeing each other or go to church every week and it's the same. The love, patience and support is and will always be there if we continue to hold on to this bond.
This is why I'm blessed. I am completely surrounded by my amazing family and friends and I will never be alone. I will always have someone to talk to or make me smile. This is one of the most amazing gifts I have ever received and I hope that each and everyone of you know how much I love you. It may be a different type of love but without a doubt, it's love. Thank you all for always being there for me. Especially in the last past 1-2 years. You are all in my heart and I will never forget any of you.
